EVACUATION SLEDGE & MAT TRAINING & MAINTENANCE

Simply purchasing evacuation equipment does not lead to compliance.

It is essential designated operators are appointed and they receive suitable and sufficient hands on certificated training in the correct use of the equipment and refresher training at least annually. All the evacuation equipment should also be checked and maintained at least annually.

Our certificated training courses ensure attendees will be confident and competent to use the evacuation equipment provided. We offer both "Trainer" and "Operator" training courses which ensure that you meet statutory obligations.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) requires that equipment provided for work is safe for use, maintained in a safe condition and inspected to ensure it is correctly installed and does not subsequently deteriorate.

Our personnel follow a rigorous checklist when carrying out maintenance of your evacuation equipment and any work that may need to be done to them is generally carried out on site, if it can not we loan equipment FREE of charge to ensure cover is always provided.

GLOBEX Compliance Packages provide cost effective peace of mind and assurance to Responsible Persons that they are meeting statutory obligations. They also extend the warranty of all new equipment.

All GLOBEX personnel receive extensive inhouse training to ensure the GLOBEX Code of Conduct is adhered to and a consistent high standard of service is provided to all clients.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) requires those who own, operate or have control over work equipment to ensure that it is suitable for its intended use, safe for use, and is maintained in a safe condition. In addition to this, PUWER demands that those who are operating the equipment have recieved adequate information, instruction and training.

This responsibility extends to businesses and organisations whose employees use work equipment, whether owned by them or not. We offer a variety of services in the form of of certificated operator training, trainer training and annual maintenance.

As a result of staff and client feedback we have introduced two additional compliance packages that can provide complete peace of mind for responsible persons / duty holders for meeting statutory obligations, ensuring emergency procedures can be maintained if there is turnover of staff or home working, discounted pricing and most importantly ensuring the safe evacuation of mobility impaired persons.

Packages are available for up to 5 years and cover all types of evacuation aids.
